Savage MKII FV-SR go or no go

Re: Savage MKII FV-SR go or no go

I have one with a Redfield 4x12. The only issue I have is the stock, it's too short for my shoulder and not tall enough for my cheek. So either budget for a new stock or just have padding around. Shoots true and is alot of fun!

Go...but you'll wanna replace the stock; the Savage tupperware stock sucks when using a scope.

It'll look even better once the BATFE approves my muzzle decoration.

I've had mine for 3 months and love it.Just camoed the stock, added a cheakpiece duracoated the barrel and action od green mounted a weaver4x16fchd scope. This thing will group tighter than my kimber svt.It likes cci green tag the best and I put a noveske kx-3 on it and its kind of quiet.Don't know how to post pictures sorry.

Lol! Today I was shooting @ 100 yards and I shot what I consider one of the cheaper ammo, winchester wildcat. It shot better than cci did @ 100 yards. Lol, idk what was going on. I would say that my groups were within the diameter of a baseball. It was awesome till the wind decided to come out and play. Then the spread went to a large exercise ball.
