Has anyone gotten the chance to run one of these yet? I know Cabela's started shipping them sometime last month. Looking to get some feedback before I commit to one.

I was at cabelas last week getting some reloading supplies and spotted what I thought was one of these new Savage APO rifles......i was going to check it out but no staff member ever came around and I didn't have time for any waiting game nonsense.

I must be one of the lucky ones then. I got a chance to spend a few minutes with one at Cabela's the other day and really liked the rifle besides the CTR stock (no bag rider). But other than that it seemed pretty solid for an option to shoot production class with. Just hoping someone has some feedback on how it shoots before I drop the money.
One of the local stores in my area must of planning on a migration toward the Ashbury because of the lack of availability of the RPR. Between 6.5 creedmoor and .308 he has over 80 of the Ashburys in stock. Ouch! They aren't moving either. Double Ouch!!
