Savage Palma Rifle EGW Picatinny Rail?

I have a friend that is buying a used Savage Model 12 Palma rifle. He is wanting to purchase a EGW 20 moa picatinny rail and we don't know which one is the correct choice. Their site is not clear on this model.

is the savage a round back or flat? i believe thats a large shank rifle too. i dont know for sure but the receiver may even be bigger around than lets say a model 10. is it a single feed or mag fed? gotta know that stuff first. ill try to get a few measurements but i just torqued everything down

All that I know that it uses the Savage single shot target action right bolt, right port. He does not have the rifle in hand yet.

I think the 4012 (HD for Savage) works on both the repeater and target short actions. Call or email to confirm. Or get the Bench Source rail.
