Rifle Scopes Savage Stealth Evolution 6.5 Creedmoor

Newbie, just purchased the Savage 110 Stealth Evolution 6.5 Creedmoor. This comes with a 20MOA rail. I'm looking at purchasing "Steiner 5-25x56 T5Xi Riflescope (SCR Illuminated Reticle). This scope has 26 mil elevation adjustment and 15 mil wind, is this enough to shoot 1k yard and keep it on center in the glass? Would you need X-high rings with the 56mm objective?

Yes, the 20 MOA rail will keep you in the center of the glass. With my Savage 10 FCP and the Steiner 5-25 Txi, I was running medium Vortex Precision Matched rings without an issue.

OP, you will not need xtra high rings, I have medium rings (1.00") with my Minox ZP5 5-25x56 on my PROOF Sendero Heavy contour bbl and it clears with the Tenebraex caps even.

The Savage Stealth Evolution has an extended rail so I'm not sure medium rings would work with a 56mm objective.

Thank you Steve, I should have looked into that. It’s basically a flat top rail like on AR platforms so you’re right, medium will undoubtably be to short.
