Savanah area long range shooting sites?

Been thinking lately about possibly relocating to Georgia coastal area, but I've not had much luck trying to find any clubs or shooting associations to accomodate long range precision shooting.
Anyone know of any in that general area?

Savannah is a tough place to shoot long distance. I used to live there and the best I could do was a 100 yard WMR range in richmond hill. Hopefully you can find something better though.

There is a 1000 yard range north on I-16 about 45 min from Savannah. The place is called Cool Acres outside of Swainsboro and the owner is a member on here. I can get you out to 300 yards at Vidalia which is also also about a 45 min trip from Savannah.

Thanks for the info. Do you know if it's a private range, or if there is a membership requirement?
I have people in the Savanah area (Tybee & Wilmington islands), and frequently travel through the (Swainsboro) area.
It'd sure be worth swinging by to check Out.

They have monthly matches and you can get in to shoot at other times if you call and set it up. 2506rem here on the hide can give you the info and they have a web site. It is cool acres sporting camp.
