Rifle Scopes SB 5-25pmii problem

I just bought SB 5-25x56 PMii and having trouble with clicks on elevation and windage. Turret states 0.1mrad per click, but I can only feel clicks on each whole number mrad. The knob passivley glides through all the 1/10th clicks. Plus, when I get to the whole numbers, theyre more like little "dunks" than clicks. Is there something Im missing or is this a bum scope?

Are the lock screws tight?(two on each turret)

Yeah man, probably a bum scope, the clicks should be very stiff and firm, they should sound very positive with a loud "CLICK" each time you move the turrent, give SB a call or whoever you ordered the scope from and they will give the details on a fix.

If you have the 5-25 with the MTC knobs then check to make sure the set screws are tightened down properly. Failure to do so will not allow the turret to engage the spindle properly and instead all you'll hear are the full mil clunks, kind of like what you're describing. If they are tightened down properly and this problem persists then it could a couple of things causing it. Without actually seeing the scope it's almost impossible to fix the issue beyond telling you to tighten the set screws. Give Mark at S&B a call tomorrow and I'm sure they'll get you fixed up because it should be a pretty simple procedure with the right tools and knowledge.

Not hijackin but....How do you like the MTC knobs compared to conventional? Are they locking? Considering these and want to hear feedback from folks that have them.

FYI, when you adjust those knobs you need to keep downward pressure on the knob when you zero and tighten up the dial screws. This helps "load" the MTC and regular click springs.
