Feedback Scammed by Bluewave

I have resorted to asking people to FaceTime/Video Chat for high ticket items. If they say sure 99.9% chance they are good to go. If they never respond you have your answer. Hasn’t failed me…yet
As a seller I put in my ad that I am happy to do facetime or video chat. Last scope I sold I installed google video chat to use, at the buyers request.

And this site makes you become a paid member before you can sell on here. Pfft.
@Shooter01 was he a paid supporter?

Also, here is something to file away for the future…..

Yes, using the internet to commit fraud or theft is generally considered a federal crime, particularly when the activity involves interstate communication, which is often the case with online activities, and is typically prosecuted under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA) or wire fraud statutes depending on the specific circumstances.

If you aren’t a paid supporter they cut you off pretty quick. And Ban you the second they see someone trying to sell anything.

That simply IS NOT TRUE. And I clearly posted the example of why that isn’t true.

If someone posts a wtb, anyone can respond via DM, whether they are a paid supporter or not.

This is expressly why @Lowlight has told people to stop posting wtb ads.

The last 4-5 for sale posts I have replied to recently I've gotten a DM from a different individual from the initial OP to complete the transaction and asking for payment. Be careful...
Even feedback, supporter status and time/ posts here, are no guarantees. A valid account could always have been hacked.

A phone call is always my first line of defense.
