i have only personally seen pre-order options so far.Are the Scar 20S 6.5 Creedmoor out there. I have found several .308, but no 6.5.
Definitely interested. Looking to pay less then MSRP if possible.
PM me if u decide.I may just sell my 17 if this happens
maybe they are shipping from FN this week to other dealers as well. There is one on Gunbroker right now. The auction is scheduled to end on 8/11, and there is no Buy It Now option. I wonder how high it will go.
im not looking to get raped on a SCAR, I'll wait till the rush is over. I havent acquire (4) SCARs bc I need it the day it comes out. Patience is key! There is one on Gunbroker right now. The auction is scheduled to end on 8/11, and there is no Buy It Now option. I wonder how high it will go.
I’ve got my black 6.5 shipping on Monday!
GB has 1.Looks like August has come and gone (almost) still no 20s 6.5cm![]()
I have one, black and beautiful. They are getting out there slowly.Looks like August has come and gone (almost) still no 20s 6.5cm![]()
did u pay MSRP or over?I have one, black and beautiful. They are getting out there slowly.
No. I would not pay that much. If you can't find one at a reasonable price keep looking. Not everyone will price gouge during these times. I have spent a lot of time and money at my LGS and they are honest guys and treated me well.did u pay MSRP or over?
308 or 6.5? 6.5 is a unicornAnybody know of anywhere that has a FDE in stock not charging $4500+ lol
What issues? I finally got mine scoped and should be getting range time in the next week or so. I was in the middle of a move and had to put a couple projects on hold.a couple new owners have reported issues, and they are at FN atm, so i might wait and see on the new versions.
primer flow, possibly weak hammer spring. there is a heavier spring available but this is just conjecture from others. What issues? I finally got mine scoped and should be getting range time in the next week or so. I was in the middle of a move and had to put a couple projects on hold.
Interesting read, a sample of two doesn't cause me any undue worry. If mine starts acting up then I will deal with it accordingly.primer flow, possibly weak hammer spring. there is a heavier spring available but this is just conjecture from others.

6.5 Creedmoor ammo / Scar20 issues
Hello all, new here but I’ve ghosted here for years. Please don’t interpret this first post as a troll trying trying to stir up something. I recently picked up a 20 much like I picked up a 17 way back when they first hit the streets, first one I saw, went home with me. I’ve fired roughly 100...www.fnforum.net
bummer to hear. if i was rich i would have one on pre-order.
my "old" one has never misfired, fte, ftf, nothing but sweetness.
i do suggest checking torque on the barrel screws before shooting.
Nice. Can you let us know here how it does next week at the range?Interesting read, a sample of two doesn't cause me any undue worry. If mine starts acting up then I will deal with it accordingly.
Will do.Nice. Can you let us know here how it does next week at the range?

Gun Review: FN SCAR 20S Rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor - The Truth About Guns
FN-USA has re-released last year’s SCAR 20S in 6.5 Creedmoor, and it’s perfect. The new SCAR 20S is the same gun, with the same trigger, stock, upper, lower, rails, finish, everything as the gun they released last year, just in a different chambering with a different barrel assembly. It’s the...www.thetruthaboutguns.com
if i lived close by, i'd let you try my 7.62. one of the first 200.Just read the whole thing, nice review. I'll make you a deal, you send me 500 round of 6.5 ammo and I will run them through my rifle and write you a review.
they can pop up but go quickly and since many places have pre-order lists, that doesn't happen often.Any of these in stock anywhere, would like to pick one up. I have a spare Schmidt and bender 5-25 with side mounted aimpoint ready to go
if i could only have one, i'd still get the .308.My LGS has had a 308 20S sitting there for weeks now.
if i could only have one, i'd still get the .308.
i don't have a range near me that goes past 900yds, and i like being able to shoot cheap ammo.
if i was going to compete, i'd wait.
The AXSA is a better gun.
Scheels seems to have 20s 6.5's and 308's in stock pretty consistently. Not cheap though. If the political environment wasn't so unstable you could snag a good deal on a 6.5 on gunbroker by summer. 308's are plentiful. If you really want one I'd pay the premium. I did. Not happy about it, but they could become extinct soon. I'll thank or curse myself later. AIAX or 20's, yes! Get both. Very different but really fun to shoot.
