Rifle Scopes Scar / KAC / NF Mounting Problem

See below pictures. The scope technically does not touch the rear sight, but it is less that a millimeter from touching. I assume under fire this thing will flex and bump a lot. Should I be worried? I really like the current setup would hate to change mounts, but I may have to?

Just my opinion but the buis is pretty useless with a non qd mount.

I had a USO 1-4 on a SCAR 16, I mounted with a Larue SPR 1.5 and it was perfect.

If you think about it, for proper torque youre not gonna be able to remove it without tools. Unless you want to keep the buis 0'd pull it off and add an offset red dot or something to make it really high speed!

That's cutting it close. I've got a SCAR with a NF scope mounted on an AADLand 20 moa mount and ran into the same problem. I ended up moving the whole setup forward and raising the stock cheek pad to get a little closer eye relief (I know it's only up but it seemed to work). I'm going to get to the range a couple of more times to make sure I'm happy with the eye relief and, if not, remove the buis.

The BUIS seems pretty plastic to me - I wonder if it will really do any damage? Maybe only one way to find out.

I'd go with a Bobro mount and a smaller scope.

pull the stock irons and mount an offset BUIS set if you truly need it

Yanked the BUIS - then went ahead and yanked the front BUIS too - setup is nice now.

I wouldnt pull the front unless your adding Midwest Industries: SCAR SSR Handguard

Hopefully if the stars align tonight.... I will be buying my first SCAR 17s tommrow!
