I am buying a Schmidt and Bender 4–16 x 50 PM II LP to place on my HS-Precision HTR. Does anyone know if the Badger 34mm Max-50 rings will work well with this combo, and also how much clearance this combo will allow between the scope and the barrel.

Which Max 50's? They are made in standard, high and xtra high. What barrel? What base?

Also note that Badger currently does not currently list 34MM max 50 rings, only 30mm

Re: Schmidt and Bender 4–16 x 50 PM II LP

correct. badger does not list 34mm for max 50, however they do make them. I could not find any 34mm rings lower than 1". (standard)

20moa badger rail.

I just want to keep line of sight as close to muzzle as possible. S&B is a new beast for me. Any help would be appreciated.

If you want the scope as low as possible, I suggest you look at the Seekins low rings (.92"). Lower than Badgers 1.0".

I had a set of badger usmc's for my 4-16, nice rings but they are close HEAVY, i think like 11oz or so, seekins are 4oz, i cant see having an extra half pound on the top end of my gun.

go Seekins
