I am running this optic on my 300WM, chambered for 240gr SMKs. I have a 20moa EGW steel base, and Badger rings. I have my elevation bottomed out and I am still high at 100yds, about 6 to 8 inch.
Is this something to do with the double turn turret? I understand that this turret is meant to rang out to 2000meters with 2 full rotations.

Thank you for any help.

Chances are you are hitting the Zero stop, just loosen the screw on the turret and turn up around 3-5 minutes(you should not hear any clicks), then retighten the screw and you should be able to bring the POI down to where you need it. Once you zero it then you loosen the screw again and turn it to zero and tighten the screw to secure your adjustment.

You have to loosen the elevation turret hex screws, lift the turret up and retighten them. This will get your turret above the zero stop and allow you to dial below it.

OR, mil the target with your reticle, if you are 2.2 mils high, for example, loosen the screws, free wheel the turret to 2.2 mils, then re tighten the screws. Dial back to zero, now you are zero'd.

EDIT- looks like scottsnipe beat me to it.

"Green side up, green side up", very important when putting down sod. LOL
It sounds like you got your problem solved, I had to comment because it made me think if the SWFA post about the guy that returned his scope, only to find out he had it mounted backwards.

The Moa version is not a 2000 meter sight as there is almost only half the elevation compared to the Mil version.

When it comes to your problem It's either the zero stop, or you have a gun that is everything else than straight.

Turn it so the yellow is showing, (loosen and turn it clockwise) and then put it back on and zero, after you have a 100 yard zero, loosen it again, turn it counter clockwise twice so the yellow is gone, then reset it to 0 and tighten it down.

You should be all set.
