Im in the market for a canted cantilever scope mount for my AR10 build in 6.5cm, not separate rings, and with a minimum of 20moa that will For Sure fit a Schmidt&Bender PMii 5-25x56. For those not aware, Schmidts have a specifically small area u have to use, on the tube body directly in front and behind the center knobs. Also, the illumination is mounted near the mag ring and that means even more tube mounting area is gone. Ive seen the Spuhr ISM cantilever mount in 20moa and know it works for sure, but are there any other options for less that can do the same job respectively? If I have to I will buy a Spuhr but Anyone Know if there are Other Options?

Thx and They do but both are 0moa. The S&B is a different animal and requires a 20moa min-44moa max base, to use most or all of the upper travel of the elevation.

That's all scopes not just sb's lol....

Since you have a white rifle a @GRIFFIN_ARMAMENT sperm mount might work.

Lmao. No shit if u use a canted base or mount your gonna get more upward travel, the Schmidt in 5-25×56 is Supposed to use a 44moa canted base to get All of its internal travel for use, per the S&B instructions most others scopes dont require a 44moa base to use all its travel...which is what S&B recommends...

Most high end scopes normally have about 24-30 mils of total travel... Not just sb's...44moa might be too much might be just enough... it's a recommendation not an absolute. Depends on where your particular rifle ends up zeroing but sounds like you know what you want and need lol

My rifle is raw aluminum silver so yeah, dont need a white mount??‍♂️

The griffin mount can be any color you want to match your whatever color of the rainbow your lil stick there wants to do be

Understood. Yeah Ive spoke with a few different owners of PMii and got a pretty good idea of what amount of cante I should probably use but im leaning 20moa min and 44moa max. The Griffin Armaments mounts are nice for the price but all I could find is a 15moa version...

First off, who the hell reads the instruction manual? How are you gonna break shit if you do that? :ROFLMAO:

Did you look at Midwest Industries? They've got quite a few mounts, may have something for you.

Actually, I didnt read the manual, I was searching for what amount of cant I should run for a 5-25 PMii and numerous posts talk about how SB put the reticle offset toward the top of the erector intentionlly in the PMii's requiring a canted base then they post pics of the instructions where it says the cant is needed because of that fact..I then was looking for cantilever mounts in 34mm and came across a few low rated reviews on otherwise known quality product, some of the reviews were complaints that the PMii doesn't fit in all the mounts, because of the distance between the rings being too long and either hitting the objective bell or the illumination area without being able to clear both at the same time. Maybe I have to get the Spuhr?‍♂️

Ok guys, I appreciate the input. I just ordered a Spuhr 20moa cantilever mount, also got 15% off so it came out to $376 shipped from a $458MSRP from OpticsPlanet. I will post the finished rifle when my scope mount arrives.

You can't go wrong with that SPUHR I have four of them none are cantilevered, but they do have 20 MOA built in and I am also using on a rifle with a 20 MOA rail with a S&B 5-25.

You may already know this, but after you zero your rifle and anytime you are done shooting you should run the elevation turret up 40 MOA or around 10-15 MIL basically until the second rev indicator comes out so you are not storing the scope with the erector spring bottomed out. Enjoy your new rig!

Good tip and I havent heard of it but it makes alot of sense and I'll try to remember that for sure. Appreciate the help

Badger makes a 34mm unimount with 0 or 20 moa of cant built in, their “PSR” mount was specifically designed for the PMII 5-25.

I did call S&B this year to ask about this and was told by their tech Jerry that there IS optical quality tradeoffs at your 100m zero when you have the max cant like 40moa on your rail/mount. After talking with him I decided that 20 moa total, rather than 40, was better for my needs.
