just mounted my new scope put my bipod on laid on the floor looked through the glass and the scope is canted way off to the left but when i hold the gun and look through the scope it perfect so my question is how do i correct this
If it's that far off then the recticle is crooked which means it needs to go back and get fixed. Would this be the Tasco 2.5-10, Barska, or bushnell trophy 3-9x40 milldot you talked about in your other threads?
When you respond, throw in a period every couple of words.
didn't know Harris makes ipod, or did you put your ipod under the harris that your rifle rest on? Make sure you have another ipod for the other foot of your Harris so it doesn't cant.

I thought you were saying that the tube is crooked but the recticle was straight.
I guess I don't understand how you mounted it and didn't see that your floor was crooked unless you mounted it somewhere else. I assume you checked it when you mounted to verify that it was straight when you set your eye relief. A level will tell you if the floor and your base are crooked. If you aren't planning to shoot off of a surface then I guess it's all good.
I had the same problem on one of my rifles, but the bi-pod was an old Harris 13-24"that I modified to get a 9-13". I don't think my modifications were quite even, so when I shouldered the rifle all was good through the scope, but on the pod, not so much. Took a second to realize it was my mods causing the problem.Break out a level. Check the pod and your shooting surface.
