Hi all - was looking at both the Sniper's Hide targets, but they are MOA only (looking for MRAD) as well as sold out. Really like the Horus CATS 0280F targets too, but are also sold out.

Anyone know of other dealers of said targets? Or maybe suitable substitutes? Thanks!

Or you could make your own.

Get a piece of freezer wrap paper and cut off a 4' piece. Lay it flat on a table and using a yard stick, draw a line in the middle of the long length. Then starting on one end, a few inches from the end, make a hash mark. Now using a dial caliper measure off 3.6" from the hash mark and draw another hash mark. Keep doing this for the rest of the length.

This gives you a hash mark every 1 mil when the target is placed at 100 yds.

Lowlight pointed out how to just use a 4' level when I asked this question a little while ago. Basically - put a 4' level at exactly 100y, set up so the level runs vertically, and is plumb. Line the reticle up w/ the top of the level on the left or right edge, and bag the gun in, or otherwise stabilize it so that it won't move at all when you adjust the turret. Dial the elevation turret up, and you should see the reticle track down the level. The reticle should reach the bottom of the level (48") at 13.3 mils, if you've set the test up correctly, and the scope is doing what it should. There shouldn't be any gap between the reticle and the edge of the level.
