Rifle Scopes Scope feedback

Re: Scope feedback

I just bought a leatherwood unidial 7-30 scope. It looks real good. Its sitting on my 700p now. I will say this, the glass is crystal clear. I plan on doing a sight in on saturday so hopefully i will have more info for you on sat night or sunday.

The scope feels real rugged.

Re: Scope feedback

You should have said you want someone to tell you that your cheap, tacticool Chinese piece of shit is worth the money you paid for it.

Sorry, not gonna happen here.

If you haven't already bought it, don't. Save a little more and buy something not made in a communist country. Lots of affordable, useable optics right here.

Re: Scope feedback

@ keith, i believe the spelling you are trying to achieve is you're, or you are.....as far as anything else a friend of mine whom was in the army recommended the leatherwood as he used both the A.R.T. and the top angle on his service rifle....I figured i couldn't go wrong.

I figured scope preferrences were a lot like fishing line, everyone has a brand they use, as long as it does the job, who really cares.

Re: Scope feedback

Guys here with lots more experience than you and I combined will point you in the correct direction. Weather you choose to take their advice is up to you. Optics are one thing that you get what you pay for. But this is the place most try to skimp.

If you are just going to put it on and zero it at 100yds and never touch a knob...Get a semi-good 10x fixed (Bushnell Elite 3200 comes to mind). If you are truly going to use your optic to it's potential.. spend your money.

Someone once told me this.. your optic should cost at least as much, if not double the cost of your rifle. That may even be low.
