To use in colorado for hunting antelope to elk. Leaning towards Nikon Monarch 3-12x40 BDC. Dont want to spend over $400, the gun was only $350 new.

For that rifle, in a BDC, take a look at the Vortex Viper 3-9x40 with deadhold BDC. You can use the ballistic software on the website and create your own drop table and accurate reticle drop points. MOA drop, Mil windage so you can range with it as well.
