I picked up a very nice original HK 91 along with the scope and mount pictured here. Was hoping some of the experts here could help me I.D. it. The scope is a 3x9x40, with military type reticle which has a duplex style crosshair, and 2 scales below the horizontal crosswire. One is labeled inches and the other meters, mount is a Leatherwood, and has a SN of 000550. Adjustments are 1/4 moa, and is adjusted with via coin slot under caps.
Scope has no markings of origin or make anywhere that I can find. The only markings other than the calibrations is "3x9x40" on objective bell.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance, Steve

Re: Scope I.D. help

Thanks for the info. I am not familiar at all with Leatherwood scopes. Any idea what the approximate age of the scope is? Are they still made? I looked for Leatherwood on the web, but could not find the same scope. I thought it might be a knock off.

Re: Scope I.D. help

Leatherwood M600; copy of the older ART II scopes. They're decent for a reasonably priced chinese scope. The adjustments aren't the greatest, but the camputer system seems to range fairly close on most occasions.

I don't know that HiLux/Leatherwood is making them any more; they do still make the higher magnification tactical ones though.
