My uncle owns a sporterized Mauser in 264 Win mag. He has owned this rifle since the 70's. Accuracy recently went to hell, and he asked me to take a look at it. I disassembled it completely and thoroughly cleaned the barrel. It was copper fouled badly. Also, the scope base is quite clearly an improvisation, to be polite. Can anyone reccomend a quality base for a mauser action?

Depending on the action (and what's been done to it)
I really like the Ken Farrel bases.
Steel, well made, and you can get them in 0 or 20 moa.
