I have a vortex viper pst mounted on my custom rem 700 260 ai. Using a 20 moa base and Burris extreme tactical low rings, I am currently sighted in 150 yrds and keep running out of adjustment . The scope shows like 48 moa zero. So what do y'all suggest I do to fix my problem I currently cannot use the zero stop cause there isn't even enough spacer disk.

I sense a disturbance in the force... I don't think you can do it on a remmy but are you sure the base isn't backwards ie. -20moa?

Yes I am out of vertical travel and you can't flip them around cause the mount has a round end and a flatter end . I have saw the signature series Burris rings that r shim adjustable but they just seem weak compared to my tactical series.

If that is the case then your 20MOA base,rings, and rifle are yielding a wee bit more than 20MOA (it happens sometimes). On the bright side you have nearly the full vertical range to dial with.
On the downside you can't get a precise 100yd zero with dead center of your reticle.
You can switch to a different base (15, 10, or 5 MOA) or just zero on the first or second hash mark above dead center.
I run mine zeroed on the +4MOA hash at 100yds (POI = +4in POA) which yields ~370yd zero with my 123gr .260Rem load. I'm a hold over rather than dial type of shooter though. YMMV.

Are you 100% certain it is a +20MOA base? Who made the base? Have you tried swapping the front and rear rings to see if there is any difference? Are you certain you installed the rings properly to the base? If so then you're likely Foxtrot Unicorn Charlie Kiloed with your current base and ring combo. Try different rings or base. I have Burris Z-rings on one of my rimfires, but they would not be my first choice for a centerfire. Good luck.

Are you 100% certain it is a +20MOA base? Who made the base? Have you tried swapping the front and rear rings to see if there is any difference? Are you certain you installed the rings properly to the base? If so then you're likely Foxtrot Unicorn Charlie Kiloed with your current base and ring combo. Try different rings or base. If possible I'd change the thread title as your issue is NOT with the Viper PST, but your "20MOA" base and how it contacts your AI receiver. I have no first hand experience with an EGW base and AI reciever, but all my other EGW 20MOA & 25MOA bases have gotten me below vertical scope center with a maximum of -12MOA for a 100yd zero. The PST has ~65MOA of elevation and comes centered (32.5MOA from top and bottom). My PST in a Badger 20MOA uni-mount has a 100 yd zero of +27MOA from bottom FYI. A "20MOA" base does not always yield a 20MOA shift in zero. Identify the make and model of the base and contact EGW if need be. They do make a 30MOA base also.
