Rifle Scopes Scope recommendations for .22LR trainer - mil FFP

Re: Scope recommendations for .22LR trainer - mil FFP

I run the Falcon Menace 4-14x44 Tactical 30mm Riflescope on my trainer and it is a good scope for the money.

Re: Scope recommendations for .22LR trainer - mil FFP

I think I may look at the following:
- BSA Tactical 4-14x44mm mil/mil FFP Mildot reticla
- Flacone Menace 5.5-25x50 mil/mil FFP EMD reticle
- Weaver Tactical 3-15x50 mil/mil FFP EMDR ill. reticle

I've got a scope I can sell for about $400 so I might entertan a Vortex Viper PST 4-1x50 mil/mil FFP.

I am just trying to get a mil/mil FFP scope in the 4-16 or higher mag range x 50mm obj, but not have a lot of out of pocket expense right now.

Yea, I'm thinking I may go this route. Not too expensive and it would be just going on a stock Ruger 10/22.

Here is my CZ 452 trainer with a Falcon Menace 5.5 - 25 X 50mm on a 25MOA rail from DIP. It isn't my USO T PAL on my LR centerfire, but it mimicks it nicely. No complaints at all.

Re: Scope recommendations for .22LR trainer - mil FFP

While not FFP, I have been very pleased with my Weaver "Tactical" 3-10x40 Mil/Mil scope. It stays on 10x most of the time that I'm shooting over 50 yards, and under 50, I don't need the mill dots to be valid. Clear glass, and repeatable adjustments are worth more to me than FFP in this case.....
