I've had a PhoneSkope setup for years, but it sucks. I'm curious to know if there's anything better out there, as well...

Most are using a dedicated camera.

There is digital stuff like ATN that will let you record. Not the greatest at anything, but it's a fun toy for recording shots.

I don’t have one but I’ve seen some good video taken with Triggercam.

PhoneSkope works fine for me. I use it for recording long range shooting, 22 rifle matches and general range use.

Would like to try it for shooting deer, so would need to be fairly quick. Just checked the triggercam.. orders are closed for the time being. Looks like a one button operation to record
