Rifle Scopes Scope Ring and Height recommendations

Putting together a bit of a budget build consisting of a Ruger American Predator in 6.5CM and a Bushnell DMR II 3.5-21 scope.

What ring and/or mount would you recommend and what height with the 50mm bell?

There's a bunch of threads on here on how to measure your ideal ring height for your bell and barrel. Also good info on using pennies to measure on the American rifle company website.

Do an interwebs search for "Scope Ring Height Calculator."

Then, input your info and voila, ring heights!

About 5/16" mounted on my Tikka Tac A1

example:
objective 50 = 56mm, tube 30mm -> scope BH = (56-30)/2 = 13mm
height of picatinny rail to action = 6mm
barrel BH to action where scope objective goes -> (34-28)/2 = 3mm
13 - 6 - 3 = 4mm.
in this case you need rings BH height 4mm to scope touch the barrel. take few mm heigher.
