Rifle Scopes Scope upgrade

Strike Eagle in the short range magnifications. Like, if you are running 1-8x, the Strike Eagle is impressive for its price. I am quite certain the Leupold is going to be better, although I have not used that model, but know it is a new model, geared toward budget shooting. Vortex makes products that range from near alpha class (amazing) to those that are better used on a youth rimfire. Leupold, tends to be moderate. They made very good, but not alpha scopes, but they make no junk.

Bottom line, if you are shooting under 250 meters, the Strike Eagle in low power would be my vote. If you want higher power and longer range, go with the Leupold.

No question get the Strike Eagle, there are many advantages over the Mark 3hd:
-10 Mil vs 6 Mil turrets
-30 Mil of total adjustment vs 15 Mil
-EBR-7c is a better reticle for PRS
-FFP is better for PRS

I've not seen the new Mark 3 scopes in person but I'm predicting that it's just another regurgitation of the old Mark 4/VX3 line up, if so the optical setup (FOV and eyebox) will be far better in the Strike Eagle, and the glass is likely better too.

Hi all
I'm Moe from South Africa
Im currently running a vortex diamondback tactical in prs
Considering an upgrade to either strike eagle 5-25 x 50 or the Hawke frontier 34 ffp
The Strike Eagle 5-25 is a huge upgrade over your current scope... I have one, it's a good optic for it's price range.

But for less money, you should also look into the Arken EP5... I have one of these, as well. And honestly, it has better glass than my Strike Eagle 5-25x, and is pretty much equal in all other features. It does have a few better features like the stronger erector sets and stainless steel mechanisms inside it. It is a more robust optic, and I feel it could handle more abuse. It also has real Japanese ED glass in it.
