Rifle Scopes Scratched red dot lenses

Can scratches on red dot sights be removed if they have coated lenses? I searched around with no answers to be found and also no manufacturer support is available....Thanks

I would assume that a coated lens is a coated lens. if so, then this might help:

It just isn't polycarbonate though
