SEPTR Challenge will be March 8-10 at the American Marksmanship Academy in Blakely Ga. Expect 8 or more stages including a night stage and the sniper tower. We will use the unknown distance range and the known distance ranges. More info is available at www.SEPTRChallenge.com

Max range to be expected so a guy has an idea what kind of rifle is needed?

max distance is 1200yards but only 2 targets past 1100 and they are approx 20x40

Well the match registrations are lower than expected. I think there are multiple factors for this. In order to run any match and give some value to the sponsors I am changing the venue to Centerfire Precision in Woodbury GA. The match is smaller and only Saturday. The location is smaller but it does have some interesting terrain; not nearly as flat as south Georgia. The max distance is 650 and there will be some cross valley shots and high angle shots. Those that have shot here all liked the different stages we use.

I hope you got the email I sent
the new round count is 60 for rifle and zero for pistol. I got the mover working today and the "holy fence" is ready.
