Hey everyone, I'm seeking load data for my 6mm Creedmoor. I'll be shooting the Berger 109 Long Range Hybrid Target. I have RL 16 and H4350...can I get opinions on which of those you prefer and how much you're using? I'm mainly looking for a starting point for load development as I can't find data on this anywhere. Thank you in advance!

I found a node with 40.2 gr of RL 16 .020 off the lands. I got 2959 fps with a 26" barrel. Lapua brass (new) and CCI BR4 primers. SD was 2.7 but I haven't done further testing on it. Group was around 3/4"

I'm trying to order now... I can't decide since my first 6mm. Between 105 hybrids, 109 or DTAC 115. I'll be shooting in high wind and 500-1200 yards. Last year wind was 18-22mph and we were launching 168gn 308 with 4 mil holds lol. Trying to stay in the game this year.

What's your barrel twist rate?

Call the bullet manufacturer, check their website or email Berger bullets. This will give you some starting data. YMMV Talk to, I believe, Phil Hoham@ Berger. I will check and see if I still have his email address.

Just shot 38.4-40.2 RL16, 210m primers and Hornady brass. There was a node for 109 Berger's at 2940fps (39.6-39.8). Now I ran that in my ballistics software and get 70 inches (1.9mil) drift in 10mph full value wind. Now if I up the powder and spin this up 100fps to 3040 the difference in same wind is 66 inches (1.8mil). Obviously real world might change the outcome but I don't think speed on these 109 Berger's are going to change much under 1000 which is what I shoot. So I'm not gunna chase that 3100fps goal and save some barrel life.
