I’m running a 10” Area 419 rail on my PH1. They provide they t nuts and screws necessary.
Countersink mortises in the stock barrel channel for T nuts. I use a centering jig from the belly side to drill the bolt hole, then chase that from the barrel channel side to sink the T nut.

Ordered from McMillan, came with the mounting hardware. Friend did it for me, has a nice man cave with all sorts of machine tools. Told him where I wanted it mounted and he just drilled the holes for the screws and used a Dremel tool to remove a little material on the barrel channel to seat the nuts in the stock. Some adhesive was also used to bond the rail to the stock. Works great. Also mounted a small Picatinny rail in the front.

Finally got my rifle mounted w/ a VX-5 on top. Shot this today with Hornady ELD-x factory 180 grn. Chambered in 300 Win. Bipod shooting, no bags. For Elk hunting- this rifle will be plenty accurate for me. Couldn’t be happier with the fit and finish of the rifle. If you’re on the fence about buying one, don’t be- they are fantastic. The Seekins Quality, warranty and customer service are worth the cost.

Finally got the ph2 to shoot. Some finetunning and this should be a legit 1/4-1/3 gun. I could not get eldms to shoot.

Virgin hornady bras the i chamfered only. Nothing else done
I did a test run with eldm thy did not shoot well but the node was at 79.6. So I threw in some h1000 and loaded up six rounds of each to have 2 -3ahot groups. 79.6/80.6/81.6. This was the result. Extremely promising. This is out of a ph2

In the 300 PRC, with Berger Bullets, what’s velocities are you all getting? I’m looking for the highest BC hunting Berger bullet that will get 3,000 to 3100 FPS in this rifle. I would think the 210’s would get there easily, but I haven’t found any confirmation on this yet.

Whats your hang up on that specific velocity? I'm sending 215 Bergers out of my 300PRC at 2900fps and I can assure you that anything I shot with it would not notice the difference.

but i'm guessing hes aiming for a certain velocity at a certain range for proper bullet expansion. in which case 200fps at the muzzle can make a big difference

Oops. Sorry. Still though, a 215 doing 2900dps mv will have enough speed to open up at 1200 meters. How far is tjr dude hunting at???
