Saw a really slick piece of Kit -- the Seiler Instruments scope. It's a day/night scope that uses a removable ocular lens which is replaced by an NV unit. According to the company, they just released an IR ocular as well. And sell a 4X magnifier, allowing you to use the ocular as an NV monocular.
There is one on eBay right now that looks like a bargain and I have been in contact w. the seller. He has serial number, receipts, etc. and seems to be the real deal. If the scope were Mils and had knobs that could be adjusted for drop, I'd have bought it in a second.
There hasn't been much discussion of these Seiler Instruments scopes on the Hide, but the concept seems fantastic. A removable ocular that lets you install electro-optics?
If USO made one of these, I'd be on it in a microsecond.
There have been a few posts by people who have these. But almost no info. Can anyone add more?
JBW3... have you looked at this? Would seem to be right up your alley. An SN3 T-Pal with this capability would possibly be the penultimate scope!
Cheers,
Sirhr
