Range Report Sellier & Bellot .338 Lapua Magnum 250 gr 'Match' ammo accuracy

Can anyone comment on the accuracy/consistency of the S&B 250 grain .338 LM ammo sold in boxes of 10 rounds? I'll be shooting in a 1x10 twist TRG 42.

How is the brass?

Can't comment on the .338, but for 308 and 223 they use the SMK bullets, and have pretty good brass.

Thanks. Yeah the .338 uses a 250 grain SMK too.

Anyone else have any accuracy feedback on this round?

I shot off a few, was 1/2-3/4 moa out of my 338. good plinking rounds out of my rifle. I have yet to try to reload the brass, so I can't comment on that.

Jason Price of Atlas Tactical in Newport, VA used a Savage 111 Long Range Hunter in 338LM and the Sellier and Bellot ammo in question to hit our 1 mile target twice in a row.

The ammo performed very well at other stages earlier in the day.

Looks like pretty decent stuff. Not sure about the brass... I inherited the empty cases at the end of the day, but I've not volume tested them or done anything with them just yet.

I used them to break in my 338 before I started reloading...brass always had hard bolt lift

I have been using them to break in my Savage 110 FCP HS Precision. Last tome at the range 2 out of 10 cases got stuck after firing and I had to manually push them out. I have never experienced this when shooting other rifles/calibers. I doubt I will be buying any more of this particular ammo. The differnce in price is very drastic when compared to other manufacturers. There must be a reason to this. I think it may be the brass.
