From what I have been seeing the used market is pretty dead, with everything involved people would just rather go through a dealer.
Only real potentially viable option is to someone in your own state.
I wouldn't do it, unless it was a good freind i was selling it to. Even then it would be temporary until the persons stamp was aproved. But i still probably wouldn't go that route even for most freinds
The used market is as good as the person wanting one and how much they trust you. I’ve sold a few but only because someone wanted something i didn’t use and they were a friend that trusted me. I think actively selling a can would be tough on an open market. Would have to be willing to damn near give it away.
The cutoff was the ones before #51158.

In state it's just like buying a new one. Form 4 transfer and a $200 tax plus the purchase price. I bought my Harvester used.
It has to go to an SOT in the destination state on a Form 4 ($200), and then from the SOT to the individual on another Form 4 (another $200).
Bought 2 used suppressors from an individual, in-state.
Paid the individual for the suppressors.
We filled up the form 4 for both. I mailed the forms, paid the tax and then wait.
Seller received the approved form 4, then seller contacted me and hands over suppressors to me with approved forms.
Figured I better not give someone a bad idea. In all seriousness though I still wonder.
Non-dealer to dealer transfers are a lot shorter. No need to go through an SOT since a form 4 is used, any dealer will do.
Major PITA buying selling cans. Needs to be a buddy and one in state. And possible the help of a LGS, which may cost you.
