semi-budget (<$2k) PRS rifle scope

I would not recommend the Vudu. It's a huge compromise optic and I wouldn't pay more than 1k for one which is what they go for used...if they even sell. The glass is not great and it suffers performance due to small form factor.
I totally agree with this. For prs use, you want a long tube, and 5x, max 6x erector. This will offer best depth of field, less parallax issues, and a general better experience.

One the best optical packages made was the minox zp5, it still hits hard comparing to the new alpha glass. They can be had for 2k or less now. Their turrets leave a bit to be desired and their customer service, R&M can be long if needed. I still have one and the mr4 reticle is a timeless design.

Zp5...the poor man's Tangent. One of the best tree reticles out there. Both the 5-25 and 3-15 are true "alpha" scopes. Designed by the same people at optronika. I loved mine and my buddy still runs one in PRS and on one of his hunting rigs.

It would be up there with ZCO and TT if they had even a decent customer support apparatus. You just can't spend that much money on something that might become a brick and take 6-8 months to fix. It could also use a facelift. I wish Kahles or ZCO would buy the brand and fix it.
