I am having very bad feeding issues with my 700 .308. It has the stock remington detachable magazine system on it and it is feeding horribly. Everytime I fire the weapon, extract the casing, then try to push the bolt back in it will get stuck and the cartridge will not find itself up the feed ramp. Is that a magazine issue? Do these remington magazines have a bad reputation? Have any of you guys heard of anything like this on the sps dm models? Thanks

I know that I had a issue with my 700 when it was new I was short stroking the bolt. once that i realized I was not taking the bolt back far enough the problem was solved.

BTW, Bowhunter311, Plato gets incorrectly attributed with the quote in your signature. It was first stated by George Santayana in 1922 and later misattributed to Plato by Douglas MacArthur in his 1962 speech at West Point.
Not a big deal, but if you're gonna use it, I thought you might want to know.
