Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer slammed the protesters who gathered inside the state's Capitol building on Thursday to demand she rescind her stay-at-home orders, saying they represented the “worst racism and awful parts” of U.S. history.


“Some of the outrageousness of what happened at our capitol depicted some of the worst racism and awful parts of our history in this country,” Whitmer said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

I believe that the racism accusations came from written reports of swastikas, nooses, and Confederate flags on display. I only saw pictures of the latter item hanging from the back of a pickup truck parked at the event, and it seems that if the other symbols were indeed displayed, pics and video would have been plastered everywhere.

What I did see in the pictures was far more disturbing:

Mismatched camo
Questionable choices of AR furniture color
Lack of physical fitness
Poor beard maintenance

The primary threat this crowd presented was to the local Old Country Buffet.
