Then someone else looked into his research and found serious flaws in the studies he used.
The nail in the coffin was Iraq and Afghanistan: Our experiences there did not bear-out what he was saying, either about the troops or about killing.
Police departments still hire him, though, especially ones that don't know any better.
And, depending on your level of experience with the subject matter, it's worth listening to his lecture if someone else is paying you to do that.
