Just saw it last night...best movie of 2011 for me.

Entertaining, witty, and I didn't actually know the whole movie within the first five minutes like most flicks these days.

Cool scene with a sniper with turn of the century suppressor.

One of the few times I like Jude Law.

Robert Downey is always good, no exception. And a bad guy you love to hate. Sherlock's revealing urban camo was cracking me up. Go see it, you won't be disappointed.

    havent seen the new one

the first one was aggravating with the whole "pre-fight" flashes"...hope they cut those scenes out of this one

reminds me too much of the CSI BS with the animation scenes of bullets entering the body tissues and such...aggravating

uummm, might not want to go then!! I personally was not bothered by this, but I also habitually avoid most CSI dramas as they are usually very unrealistic and pretend not to be.

This movie I expect to push the reality aspect a bit, but it does a good job not betraying us gun guys who know a little about shooting, and how to handle ourselves a bit better than the average movie goer.

    Re: Sherlock Holmes

I was looking forward to it since the first one ended leaving you expecting another one and I was not disappointed. If you liked the first one, you will probably like this one as much or more!

I would like to see Ghost Protocol soon too, just didn't want to shell out for the IMAX.

    Re: Sherlock Holmes

I hope it is better than the first one. It may be that I am a Sherlock snob, but the storyline of the first one was a disappointment. Action was A+, but movie overall was B- at best.

    Re: Sherlock Holmes

Saw it l last night, way better than the t typical crap they put out now n days. I would first was slightly better, but this series does not suffer from the typical first is a blockbuster & sequential is a flop phenomenon.

    Re: Sherlock Holmes

It was good. The original Sherlock was a man of thought, not action, so I would have liked it better if they put more of that into the movie. More of his detective and observation skills. But, it was still good.

Did anyone notice when they shot the artillery piece, they had the barrel elevated...but then the shell was flying parallel to the ground? Not nitpicking, it didn't ruin anything, just funny in my mind.

My fiance wants to see it, and we'll probably go to it if it's in theaters the 1st of January.

Wife and I saw it last night and had a great time. This plot line was better than the original, the action was good, characters were well done (Mycroft Holmes - hilarious), a despicable villain, very solid flick.

Celia and I caught it last night, final showing before it changes. Really enjoyed it. Was sitting up front, the screen was so big it was difficult to follow all the fight action, but it was really good. The last scene had the whole house laughing.

    Re: Sherlock Holmes

It was entertaining but I can't say it is better then the first one. Also I was not a fan of the running through the woods scene; seems every movie now a days needs to have a "Michael Bay" scene where shit gets blown up in slow motion and people run around endlessly.

    Re: Sherlock Holmes

Man the matrix came way before Michael Bay's transformers... slow motion has been in effect for some time now. The last good movie Michael Bay directed was the rock.
