Join the contest SubscribeNo parent case. Rich from Sherman Wildcats had ADG make brass for him. Its more like a 7prc improved. I couldn't find any brass or ammo for 7PRC so I went with this. On paper it outperforms 7prc with heavier bullets and more speed. I'll post real world results next week as I'm starting load development Sunday. My goal is to push a Berger 190LRHT at 3100fps while holding peak accuracy. From left to right - SST (sherman short tactical), SS (sherman short), Max, MEGA, SM (sheman magnum, which is a 300prc improved case).I don't even know what these cartridges are. Seems like the parent case is about 300WM sized, no?
Over Pressure is my middle nameAlso known as Over Pressure Central with those Sherman boys…..
Have fun!!!
Over Pressure data is reportedAll the data except the safety data.
Oh yeah? What are the pressures?Over Pressure data is reported
Ha! Come on buddy no one has pressure testing equipment on these threads. What’s your last name SAAMI?Oh yeah? What are the pressures?
Really……
As noted here….
You saw signs @72gr. But yet you fired all the way to 75gr.Berger 190 LRHT
Chamber cut with long action reamer (extended free bore)
N570 powder
70g - 3,030 fps
70.50g - 3,049 fps
71g- 3,074 fps
71.50g - 3,093 fps
72g - 3,119 fps (starting to see obvious signs of pressure)
73g- 3,135 fps over pressure
74g - 3,170 fps over pressure
75g - 3,215 fps extreme over pressure do not attempt this charge.
76g - did not attempt, most likely would blow primer.
It was stupid when Sherman made its way into the title.Guys, this thread is quickly changing into something stupid. As stated in the tittle “load data for MEGA cartridges.”
Not…..”shit on wild cat cartridges.” If your a reloader, you’ve run into “pressure” during testing. This is nothing new.

Reporting is irrelevant. It’s the course of action you take afterward that counts.Post 13 was a duplicate, it was meant to be a reply to tokay444. I don’t even know what you are referring to on this.
So let me ask you guys a question. When I see a light ejector mark (over pressure) should I not report it? When I see primers start to flatten out (over pressure) should I not report it? When I get a sticky bolt lift (over pressure) should I not report it? You guys are relentless.
This thread is reloader depot, All reloading data gets listed here. If you’ve never run into pressure, then stick to factory ammo. I’m not some 13 year old kid playing with pistol powder. I’ve loaded everything from 223 Remington to 375 cheytac, and everything in between. We don’t need spell checkers mr casselton, and we don’t need people’s opinions mr tokay444.
again, if you’ve ever worked up a load, you’ve hit pressure.
Do us an actual favour, and don’t post at all.powdahound, cassleton, tokay, I’ve thought long and hard about what you’ve said, and from now on, I’m only posting crap data. I’ll no longer be letting people know the limits of wildcat cartridges I shoot. From now on, I’ll just be posting velocity and powder charge. If someone gets hurt in the process, so be it. I know the risks. Others don’t. So reloader’s on the hide beware. You can post your data, just don’t let anyone know you ran into pressure or you’ll be cancelled by Whoopi Goldberg (Mike cassleton), Joy Behar (Tokay444), and Sunny Hostin (Powdahound76).
Dude, guys have been pretty kind to you. But wait, he's gonna post some crap data.....
And he did mention Mike...aka whoopie....

That's the only sensible load data in this thread.Needs more dietary fiber.
Keep adding fiber until you run into pressure signs
And then keep going, the Sherman way. But don’t do any actual pressure analysis. And if you do, keep it a secret.Needs more dietary fiber.
Keep adding fiber until you run into pressure signs
No scolding from me. I think the posts made by members have illustrated the danger in using the OP's load data and methods. If you want a mod here to scold us, lemme tag one in for ya @MarinePMI
