I’m about 30 min east of Sherman and I don’t know of a long range type facility near by. There is (or was a few years ago) an indoor range there called Red River Gun Club IIRC - took my CHL class there.
The closest outdoor range might be towards DFW - I’ll check around and let you know if I come up with something.

Jacob's Plain Gun Club in Greenville is another place you could contact. It's a private range but I have always had pretty good luck getting time when needed. They return phone calls pretty quickly in my experience. Just another option for you to explore.
