After putting all my pennies together and reading like crazy, I finally have my rifle complete.

Last week I fitted the S&B 5-25 and took some pics, the double turn indicator is up because that's how it comes from the factory. I looked to see what else could be done to the rifle, but besides loading her full of ammo I can think of nothing. I thought about a SPUHR mount, but it's not absolutely needed. I live in CA so a can is out of the question.

So far I have been really happy with the rifle. It shoots constantly and precise every time. I can't say the same about me buy that's a different story.

Some little helpers came to make sure I was doing a good job.

Some notes, on the glass. Going from Nightforce to S&B was a positive jump in quality mainly in the actually glass. The resolution is better and mirage is not as bad in the S&B, but for the price you cannot beat NF. They make a great optic and if you don't have the extra cash to spend for the "higher" end or want an optic that will be awesome without dropping 3K go Nightforce. The S&B is "better" but if the marginal "better" is worth it, is a question you have to make.

Thanks to the hide for the wealth of knowledge. There is so much to learn around here.

Re: She's done...

Dude, you can't show pussies in your pics, do you want to get banned!!???

(couldn't help myself)

I second (or third) the request for target pics. Very nice rifle.

Re: She's done...

The stocks are black. I'm playing with the lighting and still learning how to get the pictures to represent their true colors.

I took her out today to Sac Valley for a practice session with the NorCal Practical Precision guys. I was in the first relay and there was no wind, really kind of weird for the area. I managed to keep everything center mass and on paper from 500-1K. She's shooting really good!

Here's another pic trying to get the colors right:
