shilen drop in barrels?

Does anyone have any experience with them? I got a savage in 6.5 cm and thinking abiut putting a 24" varmint contour barrel on it. Or should i just by a reg. barrel and have it fitted?

I have a Shilen pre fit in 6.5 creedmoor that I got from Northland Shooters Supply. It's a very accurate barrel I don't think you will be disappointed.

I got a 26" Shillen MS varmint contour in .260 from NSS. Pretty happy with it. I've only loaded 140 amax so far.

Big +1 for Northland. His select match barrels sell for about the same as a standard SS match from Shilen w/o the 5 month wait.

I've got 2 Shilens. One is in 284win the other in 6.5x47Lapua. Both shoot way better than I can. + 1 for Jim Briggs @ Northland SS.

Thanks guys, about got my build all figured out shilen barrel, manners t5a ratmags, vortex viper, and a brake not sure what kind. Like the looks of badger fte but i want threaded on so i can eventually use a can.
