I was trying to do a little shooting practice and these buggers refused to leave! After a considerable wait, I got them to move along with the clang of some steel.

Now that's pretty funny. Especially coming from a avid elk hunter who has spent many a day without seeing a single one of the buggers.
I experienced the same with mulies and pronghorns. Even with the clang of steel at pretty high tempo they wouldn't leave!
Funny. Around here the deer are attracted to clanging steel from 3rd week of december until the 3rd week of November. Then the slightest whiff of gun-oil in a 5 mile region makes their hooves burn the other way...
