Re: Shooters near North Augusta, SC

Do you guys still meet up once a month? There's no place around me that I have found for long range.

Augusta checking in. Would enjoy meeting some others in the area. Gordon doesnt allow 300 win mag or anything above on the 800 yard range. I have the info for the machine gun shoot that you can shoot out to a mile and half but they only do that once or twice a year. I usually go to Carolina Star in Windsor for their 500 yard range. Gun Site Hills has 700 yards but they are an hour and a half away and charge 50 bucks to shoot my 338 instead of 20 bucks for anything smaller. I have a friend that lets me use his land near Edgefield but that is only 320 yards. There are some spots to shoot on power lines out to 1400 yards but that aint legal.

emsp, about an hour southeast of Waynesboro (1.5hrs from you) there is the Cool Acres Sporting Camp. They have a 1000yd range and hold a few matches a month. I've been to two 600yd matches and they're pretty fun and very casual. Hit me up if you'd like more info.

Hey guys. Another local shooter here. I have been shooting at Carolina Star for quite some time, and recently went over to Ft. Gordon. I shot the match that Ryan put on over there, and I'm hooked. If anyone is interested in hooking up let me know. Have a crude 66% IPSC that I carry over there. I haven't had the chance to hit 960 at the Ft., but I will be testing the waters next time I head over there.

You guys that want to shoot at Fort Gordon, call me. 706-791-5078. If you are on facebook, we have started a page for local gun guys. Hit us up on "CSRA guns, gear and training". Its a private page, so we are secret squirrels :).We post dates for shoots here, as well as other matches that Ryan (Precision Tactical Solutions) has here as well as his other events.

You can shoot 300 WM here, Not short or ultra 300.......and the range is marked to 800, but max distance is 960.
