took the ol rem 40x 22 heavy barrel out yesterday ran some cheap o 22lr through it sited in the mil dot scope at 25yrds, was stacking hits easy moved back to 100yrds got boared hitting a 4in steel swinger target with ease in light wind it was a blast found my new favorite rifle...NOW TO FIND "WOLF" 22LR...

I have a WIN. Mod. 52, with an Eric Johnson 6 groove barrel. It has an original Lyman 8X super target mounted. I have a photo of my Uncle shooting this rifle at Camp Perry in the late 30's. Still shoots better than my abilities! I am looking for a thumb hole prone stock to mount it in. Funny how the old guns just keep out shooting the new ones!
