I haven't shot a Garand in a 3-gun match, YET. I have shot a US Krag, 30-40, with a USGI Model 1911a1, I didn't have a period shotgun so used a Rem 870 Police Shotgun.

Since I got a Model 97 so I'll shot it with the Garand, 1911a1, in the next match.

I would love to do something like this (WW2 era 3 gun), but just don't have the opportunity around here. I have a friend who did one, using a No.4 Mk.I Enfield against more modern guns (mostly ARs) and actually did quite well. Looks like fun.
