When shooting from behind a barricade after shoving the bi-pod against the barricade (assuming the barricade is stable) is it better to lean full body weight or a slight amount (just to take out the slack of the bi-pod) on the rifle?

I generally load the barricade pretty tight without actually muscling into it. So I guess you could say most of my weight is being put into the position

I'll typically support the rifle off the skid plate between the bipod and mag. I've never supported off of the magazine. Support hand usually grips the stock and barricade together and I'll sometimes thread my support arm through the sling if time permits.

If the barricade has a corner that I can use, I normally place the palm of my support hand against the barricade and make an "L" shape with my index finger and thumb at the corner. I try to place the rifle into the "L" at the corner and push/pull.
If the barricade is more like a handrail or ledge, I grab the ledge with my support hand and pull back to help front load the rifle.
