VSOP

The one in Lafayette, I was shocked as they go for $70 at Sportsman's and online. They have black and OD green. I picked up one of each. That JAX now has powder as well.

I've been using this for several years. I toss all of my LTR gear/ammo in the pockets or in the main space with the rifle, fold the case, snap the buckles, toss it in the truck and I'm good to go.

MSRP is a little high but they can be found for less.

Re: shooting mat

I had the opportunity of handling the U.S. PeaceKeepers shooting mat today and it is NICE! It's built very durable and the padding is about an inch thick. I'll probably pick one up this weekend.

Re: shooting mat

I think every single mat I saw at our F class shoot on Sunday was a Midway, most seemed to be the cheaper model ($20 ish on sale)

I have their more expensive model ($50 on sale) and I love it, plenty of room, plenty of padding for shooting off cement floors/gravel.

I like the bipod loading strap in the front, works well for me

Have one. It's made of pretty durable material and only a short, narrow portion is padded with closed cell foam. It does ok in the wind and doesn't tear apart if used as a dust shield for muzzle blast. The biggest down side is its weight compared to just a foam mat. I like it when shooting off of concrete slabs.
