PRS Talk Shooting pack for PRS

LOL! Take a look at some of the Mystery Ranch (Mil or regular), Arc'Teryx (LEAF or commercial), or the Berry compliant Kelty packs.
I own packs from MR, Kifaru, Stone Glacier, and Tactical Tailor so I am aware of just how expensive these things can get, it just seems pricey for that particular pack seeing how small and featureless it is.
You really should look into the Maxpedition Sitka I posted above. It's 940 cu.in. and full of features. Besides it is pretty tough and well made and has a place for everything that you are going to need for PRS, including a way to strap a tripod on it and room to hang your gigantic pillow bags if you are so inclined to use them.

I know that a number of people think that since Maxpedition also makes lower end tacticool stuff, that maybe the quality isn't there. But unless you just must have a Kifaru or Mystery Ranch or similar Military use bag, this will do all that you need it to for PRS and will last a long time doing so.

They are having an internet sale on certain packs I bought my FAC at around 50% off.
I don't think that particular pack is included in that sale as it is ringing up as $299 at checkout. Thanks for the heads up though.
Ahh yea, I see it now, thanks! Definitely not the easiest color palette on the eyes.
I"ve had them all and keep going back to Maxpedition, I think the build quality/materials used is excellent. Eberlestock is junk compared to them.
I have been using my retired three day assault pack, three color desert....LOL. Perfect size but I might need an upgrade in the near future....
sorry to revive an old thread but I'm just getting started - is the assault-style pack like an Eagle A3 too much/big?

It should work fine.
I carry a gamechanger bag, small rear bag, ammo, brass bag and a few other small things in my pack. I strap a mag pouch, kestrel pouch, suppressor pouch and bleeder kit to the molle on mine.
I'm running a mystery ranch 3 Day Assault Pack.
I’m in the same boat... looking for a good pack to use for PRS. I like Eberlestock packs. I was looking at the J79 Skycrane with the weapons carrier. I’m looking at this pack because of its modularity, and ability to add onto it or take away from it. It will be used for more than just PRS so I’m looking for versatility also. Does anyone here own one or have any experience with this pack? Thoughts? Feedback?
