anyone put a elevated shooting platform on their house deck? Any pics? I'm getting ready to redo my deck and figured it would be a good time to put a dedicated elevated platform on one corner. Thanks.

Depending on the state and local regs, if the shooting platform is a part of a "deck" structure that is attached to a structure like a house. Then you will have to follow local and state building codes for everything on the tower too...like stair grade, hand rails, and lumber sizes and spacing.

When we bought the place there was a screened porch off the kitchen, in addition to other decks and porches.
I took the screen out and have left it open for shooting.

It has worked well, but the room over the garage is better and it catches the brass too.

You can go full out, which I would, or use removable platforms. Mail boxes come in handy and portable benches. But I really like your idea of a dedicated platform. ;)
