I have SCAR 17 with VLTOR stock adapter and Magpul ACS stock and Razor HD 2 . After shooting it off the bench my cheeck feels like it was punched.
This doesn't happen to me with other rifles and I had no issues with DTA SRS I shot during the same session. Do I need to move stock up/down to alleviate this?

Thanks!

I suspect its the metal adapter replacing the plastic one that the rifle comes with. The heavy mass of the bolt carrier is slamming straight into metal instead of plastic. The plastic has some give and softens out the blow. I have a kdg/acr stock on mine and I think that it may feel a little more sharp in recoil. There are a lot of discussions on this in the FN forum. It can cause the interface plate to drift back in the receiver and pull the screws with them causing them to cant. I am ordering a high desert dog scar buffer to help out with this if they would ever get them in stock.

I am using a buffer liner from Mototech engineering. I think it's my position because at one point when I was using a different scope, with a stock set lower, I don't remember experiencing this discomfort.
