Just kidding, but we did have a blast on Saturday shooting skeet over a meteor crater on our lease..
At the end of the skeet session I got my WC 6.8 out and wanted to check the sight in of the Aimpoint T1 I had put on it the night before, I have it and an Accupoint 3-9, both in QR mounts. I had boresighted by looking through the barrel and adjusting the dot to be about 2" above what I was looking at in the backyard at about 10 yards.
The first shot was a broken clay pidgeon at about 75 yards on the far side of the crater, when I drilled it with the first shot I was quite happy and a little surprised...
We burned through about 50 rounds doing this and sure enough, it was dead on..
Even launched a few with the thrower and tried to hit them as they hit the ground
Need to figure a way to do more moving target practice, sure was fun!!
The WC 18" balances so well with the T1 on top, I have had a lighter 16" barrel and find the 18" stays on target better for followup shots..
Practicing hitting 4" targets offhand sure is fun, we did some with my 44 mag as well.
Good times for sure, man, I just love shooting.
