Short 22 Creedmoor

Looking to build a short coyote rifle, wondering if I can go down to 16-18 inch 22 creedmoor without and issues if I shoot a faster burning powder like varget?

I have a 20” 22CM. I shoot the 75 gr elds at 3355 FPS whith RL26.

I have two 6mm Creeds, one with a 22" barrel and one with a 16'5" barrel, both 1-8" twist. I have found that I lose almost exactly 200fps across the board on the shortie with same bullets it doesn't matter which powder I use. I get excellent accuracy on the shortie out to 600 yds, which is the longest range I have had access to. I am currently building a 22 Creed.

6mm Creedmore Winchester Staball 6.5 powder 105 gr Berger Hybrids; Red is 22” barrel, blue is 16.5” barrel, both Criterion 1-8’’ twist made with same reamer. Better than my hazy memory.
